OPEN FORUM

This is an opportunity for any citizen to briefly address the City Council on any matter that does not appear on this agenda.  Upon being recognized by the Mayor, please state your name, address, and limit your oral statement to no more than three minutes.  Matters that appear to warrant a more lengthy presentation or Council consideration will be agendized for further discussion at a later meeting.

CONSENT CALENDAR

The Consent Calendar consists of items that the City Council considers to be non-controversial.  Unless any item is specifically removed by any member of the City Council, staff, or audience, the Consent Calendar will be adopted by one motion.  Items removed will be considered in the sequence as they appear below.  If any member of the audience wishes to have an item removed, please step to the microphone, state your name, and indicate the item.

 

4.                  Approve minutes of the March 10, 2008 Regular City Council meeting. 

 

5.                  Approve warrants of March, 2008. 

 

6.                  Approve $3,000 funding request for the Belvedere Concerts-in-the-Park Committee in support of the 2008 summer season.

 

7.                  Approve revocable license for private improvements in the City’s right-of-way at 110 Bella Vista Avenue.  Owner:  Marcus F. Newbury and Shu C. Frazier-Newbury. (Continued from March 10, 2008, Council meeting.)   

 

8.                  Approve revocable license for private improvements in the City’s street right-of-way at 5 Edgewater Road.  Owners:  Richard L. and Marika F. Bergsund, Trustees.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

10.       Appeal of penalty for violation of the construction time limit for the building project at 125 Belvedere Avenue. 

 

OTHER SCHEDULED ITEMS

 

11.       Request by St. Stephen’s Church and Belvedere-Tiburon Child Care Center for waiver of fees for use permit, technology fee, design review, and business license in amount of $950.  

 

12.       Historic Preservation Committee recommendation to modify limits on new Mills Act Agreements.
