With the adoption of the 2007/2008 Budget, the City Council initiated a process to update the City's General Plan. This process is expected to take at least two years and will involve multiple meetings and public hearings. The Council recruited volunteers to serve on the General Plan Update Steering Committee. The Committee includes one member of the City Council, one member of the Planning Commission, and a member from respective City standing committees and boards.
Meetings of the General Plan Steering Committee are public and will be posted at City Hall. A General Plan Update webpage will be developed that will include reports, meeting information, and minutes.
