Planning Department
The Planning Department provides staff services to the City Council and Planning Commission related to the implementation of the city general plan. This is the department that oversees the development and implementation of planning and land use policies and regulations in Belvedere, and analyzes applications for the development and use of property within the community.

Building Department

The mission of the Building Department is to assure reasonable standards of life and property safety, and protection of the public welfare through compliance with all adopted codes and regulations. Staff is available to assist residents and their design professionals with construction project or maintenance questions.
