Landmarks Society Fall Fundraiser - Tiburon Tommie's
Saturday, October 7, 6:00 - 9:00 PM
Mark your calendars: this year’s Landmarks fall fundraising event is celebrating Tiburon Tommie’s MAI TAI Restaurant on Saturday, October 7th. A Tiburon Main Street icon for many years, Tiburon Tommie’s was Owned by Tommy Cox, the affable bartender, and Johnny Won, the creative hard working chef.
The Landmarks will be recreating the popular Polynesian restaurant and Tiki Bar with artifacts collected by the Caseres family from the restaurant prior to demolition. With the waterfall under the stairs to the dining room and the authentic Maori and Polynesian decorations, the poo poo platter and tropical drink menu, Tiburon Tommie’s was a family favorite offering something for everyone. Come and meet old friends to celebrate our past. Join us to get a taste of our local history and to support the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks!
Funds raised will go to repairs at the Art & Garden Center: removal of the dead black walnut tree that towered over the terraced gardens providing shade to thousands of visitors, and repair of the leaky cedar shake roof.
Tickets are $125.00 per person which includes a one year membership to the Landmarks Society, traditional Tiburon Tommie’s Poo Poo Platters, drinks, and fun festivities during the evening. To make your reservations, please contact the Landmarks office: lmsoffice@sbcglobal.net or call Michelyn at 415 435-1853.
