| Making Tracks for 2011 Walk Your History |
 May 7, 2011 - Walk Your History Day
The City of Belvedere, Town of Tiburon, Belvedere Community Foundation, Tiburon Peninsula Foundation, Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation, and Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks have again joined forces to bring you the 2011 Walk Your History event.
This year there are two sponsored walks - one through Belvedere spotlighting Belvedere's historic Golf Course and one through Tiburon spotlighting Old St. Hilary's and the Miwok Indian History. Each walk is dotted with Living History Docents at Historic Hot Spots in both communities. The walks begin and end at Belvedere Community Park and culminate with a picnic lunch, music, and fun!
The Belvedere Loop will focus on the historic Belvedere Golf Course and Club House. The Tiburon Loop will highlight the China Cabin, the Boating Clubs, Miwok Indian Shell middens and Old St. Hilary's!

 14th Year of Concerts Begin June 19
Tributes to Johnny Cash, Santana, Michael Jackson, and the Big Band Swing!
Mark the dates! The Concerts-in-the-Park Committee is proud to present four fabulous and FREE Sunday afternoon concerts for your enjoyment this coming summer. Please join us for every concert in Belvedere Community Park from 4 pm to 6 pm. Bring a blanket, a picnic, your family and friends, and have a great time!

Concerts are FREE to the public, and sponsored by individual and community tax deductible donations. The Committee thanks the City of Belvedere and the Belvedere Community Foundation for their support for the last 13 years. The Concerts Committee consists of Belvedere volunteers: Anne Butler, Nancy Cappelloni, Christina Decker, Tina Dewey, Jack Doyle, Ginny Doyle, Roger Felton, Nena Hart, Maureen Johnson, Cissy Kirrane, Jeffery Stein, and Petey Stein.

As most Belvedere Lagoon property residents are aware, you are required to have flood insurance if you have a federally backed mortgage or line of credit. National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) premiums are paid annually through your property insurance carrier.

Library Expansion Project Comments

 Revised Draft Environmental Impact Report - Request for Comments
The Town of Tiburon is requesting comments on the planned 19,990 sf expansion of the Belvedere-Tiburon Library. The expansion project includes new library amenities, patios, 52 parking spaces, relocation of Zelinsky Park, lighting and landscape changes.
