Friday Night Firefighter's Dance on Main Street with The Fundamentals!
Friday, September 23, 2011
6:30pm - 10:30pm
Downtown Tiburon
Come to downtown Tiburon for a memorable evening of live music, dancing and great food. The Tiburon Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating 70 years of community service and you can be a part of it! As always, the volunteers will be laying down our brand of Red Hot Rock n' Soul. Count on hearing your favorite R&B, rock, pop and soul tunes. From Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson and Beyonce to Journey, Bon Jovi and The Stones... you'll hear it all!
Coastal Clean-up Day - Tomorrow!
California Coastal Cleanup Day is an annual beach and inland waterway cleanup - it is the State's largest volunteer event. In 2010, over 82,500 volunteers removed more than 1.2 million pounds of trash and recyclables from our beaches, lakes, and waterways. When combined with the International Coastal Cleanup, organized by Ocean Conservancy and taking place on the same day, California Coastal Cleanup Day becomes part of one of the largest volunteer events in the world.
Join us in Belvedere at 9:00am Saturday, September 17, 2011. Meet at San Rafael Avenue & West Shore Road at the drinking fountain and bench. For more information email Barbara at brooksblooms@yahoo.com or call (415) 435-0441.
Sincerely,

Marin Zero Waste Museum
Help Marin go zero-waste by 2025. This month, sign up to give up plastic water bottles. We're making a huge impact on Marin's future, one step at a time. Join the movement at zerowastemarin.org.
Zero Waste Marin is sponsored through the Marin HHW JPA? Who or what is the Marin HHW JPA? We’re all community members, and we rely on people like you to get involved. We’re the Marin Hazardous and Solid Waste JPA (Joint Powers Authority), with representatives all over Marin County. It’s our job to help residents and businesses reduce and recycle their solid waste and safely dispose of hazardous materials. We provide household hazardous waste collection, information on recycling and disposal, and ensure our county’s compliance with state recycling mandates—all while educating the citizens and businesses of Marin.
