Last week’s Road Closure for Beach Road had to be rescheduled. This new Road Closure by PG&E is to install engineered backfill in an open trench near 270 Beach. This material will need to set-up for a minimum of 3 days. A separate paving contractor will return within the next two weeks to remove the trench plates and perform the final paving work. At the same time they will be repairing some additional longitudinal asphalt cracking on Beach Road for the City. Please contact DPW if you have any questions or concerns with the proposed work.
