Chipper Days 2019

August 6th – 8th

The City of Belvedere, in cooperation with the Tiburon Fire Protection District, is sponsoring a FREE program which will offer access to a chipper in order to reduce fire prone vegetation and provide better defensible space around your home. On August 6th, 7th, and 8th, contractors working for the City of Belvedere will chip and haul it away at no expense to you!

To participate in the program and ensure your home is not missed on pickup day, please email Public Works Manager Robert Zadnik.

General Rules:

  • Brush piles must be ready at 8 am on the 6th.
  • Have your contractor place cut material in piles accessible from the curb or edge of street pavement.
  • Piles CANNOT block the roadway or include rock, dirt, or other debris.
  • Branches for chipping must be less than 4" in diameter and a maximum of 5' in length.
  • Branches must be stacked neatly, with all cut ends facing in the same direction.
  • Brush piles should be less than 5' high.
  • Soil, tree stumps, rocks, garbage or anything in plastic bags are prohibited and will not be picked up.
