More… Belvedere’s volunteer block captains are an integral component of the City’s disaster rescue and recovery plans. Our goal is to have a minimum of two block captains per street, more for longer streets. Block captains are required to attend training once per year, keep their two-way radios charged, and follow the block captain protocols if disaster strikes. If you would like to volunteer, or simply want to learn more about what’s involved, please complete the form below.
