Last fall, the City Council created the Be Ready Belvedere working group to address its vital goal of safety and emergency preparedness.
Be Ready Belvedere, under the leadership of Councilmember Pat Carapiet, is currently working to finalize evacuation locations, obtain water and food to store at the designated spots, and update our local emergency medical supplies.
Ultimately, we are all responsible for our personal safety, so Be Ready Belvedere will also provide periodic information to help residents prepare for a range of potential disasters. Act now to start being prepared:
Action 1: Sign up for Alert Marin. Nearly half of the adults in Belvedere are registered, but if you’re not, please do this today.
Action 2: Organize a 7-day supply of provisions in case of a shelter-in-place order. Don’t forget about your pets!
