Community Park is open to any group or individual to enjoy on a first-come, first-served basis, including for children's birthday parties. However, if your event is open to the public, or you plan to utilize special equipment or services such as tents, pony rides, animal programs, music, food carts, or barbeques, you must obtain a Special Event Permit from our Public Works Department.
Please note that bounce machines, generators, and amplified music are prohibited (unless part of an event approved by the City Council). Events will be closed down by our PD if the organizer does not have an appropriate permit or uses prohibited equipment.
