Each year we honor two standout volunteers whose service helps Belvedere flourish. A group of past Citizens of the Year unanimously selected this year’s honorees.
Our 2025 Citizen of the Year, Nancy Kemnitzer (pictured left), is recognized for more than 16 years of steady, thoughtful service on both the City Council and the Planning Commission. Her commitment has shaped many important community decisions and reflects her ongoing dedication to Belvedere’s long-term well-being.
Our 2025 Citizen Emeritus, Pam Martori (pictured right), has quietly led The Meal Bag Project at St. Stephen’s Church since 2020—organizing volunteers each week to prepare lunches for the St. Vincent program and for the Hilarita residents. Her consistency, kindness, and behind-the-scenes work make a meaningful difference for the broader community.
We look forward to celebrating both honorees at the Annual Town Meeting in late January 2026, and we hope many residents will join in acknowledging their contributions.
