Belvedere’s Committees and Commissions, made up entirely of local volunteers, play an important role in our City’s decision-making process. They hold regular public meetings. You can find current and archived agendas on the Public Meetings page.

Maddy Act - Local Appointments List
In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, Government Code 54972, on or before December 31 of each year, the City is required to publish a list of all appointments to the City's Committees and Commissions, noting the expiry date of each term.
The current December 2023 list can be found here.
The names on this list are subject to change based on resignations that occur during the year. Please get in touch with the City Clerk’s Office for more information. Unanticipated openings will be posted on the City's website and advertised in the Ark Newspaper.
