The Finance Committee's role is to provide financial oversight to the City of Belvedere. It is responsible for reviewing the draft annual budget and the annual audit, and sending its recommendation to the City Council.

The Finance Committee comprises five members appointed by the City Council to serve four-year terms without term limits. Members typically have a background in finance, economics, or tax and accounting.
Two Council Members are also appointed annually by the Council as non-voting members.
